Explore a dark dungeon in Crystal Rift

Crystal Rift is a first-person perspective virtual reality dungeon-crawling game. You explore an underground labyrinth, battling enemies and solving puzzles to reach deeper levels. The game contains 25 different dungeons to explore.

An old-school dungeon crawl experience

Crystal Rift combines elements of grid-based dungeon crawlers with a more traditional first-person RPG perspective. For instance, movement is real-time, not turn-based. The result is that some of the puzzles can be particularly challenging, especially because the control system allows you to input only one command at a time. Using this system to navigate puzzles will require patience and practice. The same goes for combat, where enemies, like you, are bound by the limitations of the grid movement system. The enemies and environments are firmly in the classic dungeon crawler aesthetic, although the limited number of models in the game can mean that dungeons, despite their different layouts, start to feel a little repetitive after a while.

A simple dungeon crawling experience

Crystal Rift is a simple dungeon crawling experience with a wide range of relatively short dungeons. Over a long period of time, it can feel repetitive, but playing a dungeon every now and again can be a fun way to while away some minutes.
